INF Device Driver Language Demystified

Ever have to hack a device driver INF file to get it to play nicely with an automated workstation build? This is one of the least documented parts of Windows. Now you can visit this Microsoft published reference.

Microsoft has made some strides forward with assisting developer who must write device drivers - of course this ends up being great material for admins who must hack on bad device drivers until they can get them working. Here is a site that documents the INF language and gives you "how to" type learning material on it. You can even signup for the beta testing of the new driver installation tools Microsoft is working on.
