O'Reilly books are of course legendary!  VBScript in a Nutshell is no exception.  The reference section comprises two thirds of the book and had indepth syntax and usage information on all VBScript functions and the built in objects.

Each reference item also has two extremely useful sections called "Rules at a Glance" and "Programming Tips & Gotchas".  Rules at a Glance outlines the most prominent rules and restrictions of the item being discussed, while Programming Tips & Gotchas tells you about those little hard-learned facts about the anomolies of specific functions or objects.  Each item also has a "VBA/VBScript Differences" section for those who are coming from VBA - great for Office Solutions programmers who are transitioning their wares to Office 2000!
