Preparation and Testing
If you have any problems installing or connecting, please try our Web Conferencing provider's technical support line first at (250) 862-4800. They have experience walking people through any unexpected setup problems or challenges. As always, you can call us anytime at (610) 400-3020 x2 for assistance with anything at all.
- If you have not received your headset yet, any microphone (including those usually installed on laptops) and speakers will do.
- If your headset has it's own physical volume and mute settings - ensure your microphone is NOT muted and that the headset volume is set to 100%.
- If your computer has physical audio volume and/or mute settings - ensure your microphone is NOT muted and that the headset volume is set to 100%.

Testing of Web Conferencing Client and Setup
Click here to enter a test meeting.
You will see a login screen similar to this one.
Fill in the fields (You do not need to REAL name and email information).
Once you have logged in you will see a screen similar to this one:

Click the Audio Icon in the upper right hand portion of the screen.
You will now be viewing a window similar to this one:

You will now adjust your microphone volume to be appropriate for the conference.
Click "Multimedia Settings"
To See This Window:

Ensure that the mute checkbox is unchecked.
Click "OK"
You will return to the WebTrain Audio Properties:

If you will be using an audio headset with a microphone to speak (generally not required for Webinars), then click "I am using a head-set." Please do not check this box if you do not have a headset as it can cause audio feedback into the conference call.
Next put your headset volume on the audio slider to 80%.
On the same window, please shift your attention to the Microphone area:

Click the "Microphone Test" button and speak a complete sentence into the microphone. Click the button again to hear how you sound. When your microphone volume is properly adjusted, you should see green bars and the occasional yellow bar while talking normally. You should NOT see red bars when talking normally.
