Channel 9 is Microsoft's informal community for the direct interaction of it's developers with customers.  This video focuses on Windows Installer integration with the Vista Restart Manager, User Account Protection (UAP) and touches on the relationship to .NET 2.0 Click Once functionality.  Toward the end of the video there is brief mention of enhancements in logging (event log and Windows Installer logging) and the ability for downlevel Windows Installer clients to run 4.0 packages by simply ignoring new functionality - as opposed to having packages that use new 4.0 functionality require Windows Installer 4.0 and require package builders to deploy it with their software package.
